This Privacy Policy explains how AI Rank Inspector collects, processes and protects information when you use the AI Rank Inspector Chrome extension and its PDF report service.

What AI Rank Inspector Does

AI Rank Inspector analyses a webpage selected by the user and provides SEO, AEO and GEO audit findings.

The extension reviews information such as:

• Page title and meta description
• Headings and visible page content
• Links and images
• Canonical and robots directives
• Structured data
• Open Graph and social metadata
• Public robots.txt and optional llms.txt files
• Keyword, topic and entity coverage
• Content structure and wording patterns

AI Rank Inspector only analyses a page after the user starts an audit.

Information Processed Locally

The standard webpage audit runs inside the user’s Chrome browser.

During an audit, the extension may process:

• The URL of the selected webpage
• Visible webpage content
• Metadata and headings
• Links, images and schema markup
• The main topic entered by the user
• Audit scores, findings and recommendations

This information is not sent to the AI Rank Inspector report server unless the user deliberately requests an emailed PDF report.

AI Rank Inspector does not continuously monitor browsing activity and does not collect a complete browsing history.

Chrome Storage

The extension may use Chrome storage to remember:

• The most recently selected audit mode
• The entered topic
• The entered URL
• Temporary audit state
• The tab associated with an audit

This information is used only to operate the extension. Users can remove locally stored extension data by uninstalling the extension or clearing its stored data through Chrome.

Emailed PDF Reports

The PDF report feature is optional.

When a user requests a PDF report, the following information is transmitted securely to: https://reports.airankinspector.com

• Email address
• Optional name
• Audited webpage URL
• Entered or inferred topic
• Audit scores
• Audit findings and recommendations
• Technical request information needed for security and rate limiting

This information is used to:

• Generate the requested PDF
• Deliver the report by email
• Prevent spam and misuse
• Investigate failed report deliveries
• Provide support when requested

The report form requires the user’s consent before this information is submitted.

No Automatic Marketing Subscription

Requesting a PDF report does not subscribe the user to marketing or promotional emails.

Marketing communications require a separate signup and separate consent.

Service Providers

AI Rank Inspector currently uses Hostinger for website hosting, report-server hosting and email delivery.

Service providers process only the information necessary to host the service, generate the report and deliver the requested email.

AI Rank Inspector does not sell personal information and does not use extension data for personalised advertising.

Data Retention

Generated reports and operational report-request records are retained only for the time necessary to deliver reports, prevent abuse and resolve support issues.

Report information is intended to be deleted within 30 days unless it must be retained for an active security investigation, legal obligation or support request.

Human Access

Authorised support personnel may access report-request information only when necessary to:

• Resolve a delivery problem
• Respond to a support request
• Investigate security issues or misuse
• Meet a legal obligation

Webpage audit information is not reviewed manually for advertising or unrelated commercial purposes.

Data Security

Information sent to the report service is transmitted using HTTPS.

Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used to protect report requests and email information. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

User Choices and Deletion Requests

Users may request access to or deletion of report information associated with their email address.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Information accessed through Chrome permissions is used only to provide and improve the webpage-audit and report-delivery features described in this policy.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when AI Rank Inspector’s features, service providers or data practices change.
